Double feature!
Cooking With Spaz!
Today we're making
Salmon Filet with Balsamic Honey Glaze
For this you'll need:
- Salmon
- 1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1 Tablespoon red wine vinegar
- 1 1/2 Tablespoon honey
- 3 teaspoons dijon mustard
- paprika
- oregano
- garlic
- pepper
- salt (optional, you won't really need it with the vinegar and the garlic)
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 Celcius).
- Assemble ingredients.
◊
- Mince garlic
◊. You'd generally only use four cloves or so, but I used six because FUCK THE SYSTEM, YOU DON'T MAKE THE RULES FOR ME. (Cooking tip: There is no such thing as too much garlic. EVER.)
- Add to greased saucepan and stir on medium for a bit until it's softish.
◊
- Stir in red wine vinegar
◊, honey
◊, balsamic vinegar
◊, and dijon mustard
◊.
- Continue stirring on simmer until it's thickened slightly
◊, then remove from heat.
- Grease pan, add salmon. Rub salmon with paprika and pepper. Or don't, if you're a pussy and don't like spicy things. (Step not shown. Didn't want paprika all over my touchscreen.)
- Pour glaze all over it, and rub it in.
◊ (I think I may have made a bit too much, but whatever. I'M NOT PART OF YOUR SYSTEM.
- Add oregano.
◊
- Cook for 10-15 minutes.
◊
- Serve and enjoy!
◊
