Keep in mind that I do not make hyperbolic statements on things like this. Consider that.
It's made that much worse considering how good the rest of the ME trilogy was... the whole thing was just one big letdown.
MY SOUL IS DARK BUT MY HAIR IS COLORFUL — Brahian Pokémon AlchemistRelax, Spaz.
The endings of the first two games were stunningly awesome.
That's two awesome endings out of three.
Appreciate that.
The ending is a major fault, but on the see-saw that is Mass Effect, it is utterly eclipsed by the brilliance of the eighty hours leading up to it.
Forget the ending and live in the moment.
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?Seeing as how Spaz likes gameplay, she probably shouldn't get into Drakengard, from what I've seen of it. By all accounts, while its plot makes what we come up with look positively light-hearted, the gameplay is absolutely awful.
Going by 3's trailer it's gameplay won't be terrible though.

In our heart, Mr. Ando will always be a penguin.I like Drakengard's gameplay don'tkillme!
Drakengard is noted for being about the darkest thing out there in regards to plot. I mean one of your party members eats babies. The main villian is a child possesed by an Eldritch Abomination. The "hero" actually enjoys slaughtering people in the thousands. Its basically how to not JRPG.
But, I do think it has a pretty good plot. It somehow manages to make all the grimdarkness not pointless grimderp like 40k. And it builds an very interesting world...s. I say plural, because....fuck just play the games okay!

Woo.
@Spaz: Yeah, what Jam said. Try to let the first game be a fun experience on its own.
Think of it as a standalone game, as opposed to the first part of the trilogy.
