I saw the greatest thing in my life
, and I became a nerd forever.
Where did you think I got the name?
{{Facade Other than some shitty compooper game...}}
Okay, that's where I got it.
But point is, SIGN was fucking beautiful to look at, had great characters, a great villan, a great cliffhanger (I will never forget looking at a preview of my nightmares ever), and a great ending in general.
You wouldn't like it, plebian.
abnd for that
watch a little kid get his conscience ripped out of him by an angry AI
in a way that would ''rightfully' make me dread Deoxys.
Because when you fail it the first time, you fail it permanently.
Now, back to that sce- fuck my life, that scarred me as a kid, and playing the games opened that scar into a permanent evisceration, while the bane of my existence shoves Cacti through my stomach, while lecturing me about why my life needs improvement, all to the background music of that fucking 2Girls1Cup music!
And the worst part?
Not counting the normal bosses, only counting the Phase/Cubia battles, Skeith is the fucking first boss and he's already caused me that much grief!
Granted, he' also the Final Boss, but...
Apparently Raiden is the God of Revengeance and is friends with Noel Vermillion.
And Garrus is the space equivalent to Batman.
And the Quintessons are in a sticky legal situation with Primus regarding Transformers continuity.
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?Give EC a chance.
I did, and I didn't regret it.
But even on my most ardent raging fanboy days, I will not defend the vanilla endings.
Besides, once you finish the trilogy, you get to start it again and enjoy it in new ways.

What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?Well, think back to chapter openings that have left an impact on you.
It depends on how you want it to start.
Oblique but intriguing statements that aren't immediately cleared up are always interesting.
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?Ionno.
@Norm: Yeah, but... Starchild... I don't want to chose those endings. I want to shoot that cuntnozzle in the face and watch as that 100% readiness goes to work for me instead of doing absolutely nothing at all. -RAEG- I would rather they didn't include the "fuck off" option at all. Now it's like they're taunting us with what looks like a good ending but is actually a game over... kind of like how AC turned out to be shit, and now I have to endure the ridicule of the internet because of it.

MY SOUL IS DARK BUT MY HAIR IS COLORFUL — Brahian Pokémon AlchemistThe only one that really strikes out at me from recent memory is "The Kite Runner" by Khaled Hosseini (Amazing book. Read it. Amazing book. You have not read a good book until you have read it). But that book starts out with the ending, you know where everyone's like "Oh I'm playing and happy in the fields! Let's remember how this all started!"
But that won't work for my story. Because if I do that every single person that reads is gonna call Mary-Sue/Overpowered because these characters are complete strangers with superpowers.
Like, say no one knew who Spiderman was and put him in a story. He'd seem pretty goddamn overpowered.

Methinks the vitrol for the ending os overblown and stupid. As is worrying about teh opinion of internet dwellers.
How stong a character is doesn't make them a Mary Sue its how their written.

PM box is Closed, Indefinitely Friend Code: 3368-4181-6850I know. Trust me. I've invested years into the games. I could rant with you for hours about that ending, but it won't change the ending, and the ending won't change the hundreds of hours I've enjoyed the game for.
Refusal would have been awesome if it at least allowed you to fight unending hordes of husks or something, pulling a Noble Six. As it stands, I prefer the high EMS Destroy ending - Shepard freaking survives, the Reapers and most importantly the Star Child are killed and though the friendly synthetics die, they make it clear that they would prefer this fate rather than bending over to the wishes of the Reapers. The cycle is broken, the twisted Reaper logic has been disproved and the central themes of the game - freedom and uniqueness - are preserved.
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?Couldn't someone just rebuild the geth and EDI? Eh... picking the red ending regardless. The other two are dumb.
Isn't it sad that in a game about choice, I can already decide how I want my game to end despite having gotten it a few days ago, and it will happen?
I thought playing the game a little would help me accept the endings, but now they just piss me off even more because I have sunk time into the games and am a fan and have grown to care about the characters and have stressed out about every single little choice down to stealing smuggled goods from jellyfish only to eventually have to face up to the fact that none of it actually matters. I play video games to get a sense of accomplishment. I can't get that if in the end I'm not really accomplishing anything through my own efforts. Mass Effect isn't a video game for me. It's a movie where I press buttons and watch the deleted scene alternate endings in the special features menu. Fuck you, Bioware. Fuck you fuck you fuck you fuck you fuck you fuck you fuck you fuck you fuck you fuck you.

Nooo!
It's not my fault!
Blame The ABC!
Blame my Australian, console-less, enforced rugby games upbringing!
