Once he's recruited, Garrus is with you until the bitter end, even if you treat him like dirt.
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything? And whoever sent me that silver sonic clone, thank you. I've always wanted a palette swap.

How does what feel? Mass Effect?
...Rather depressing, considering all these important moral decisions I'm freaking myself out over that are an integral part of how the game is played won't actually matter in the end. Except for my military preparedness stat. Go eat a bag of dicks, Bioware. Fucking cocktease...
Seriously, what is it with the Third One? Always the Third One.

MY SOUL IS DARK BUT MY HAIR IS COLORFUL — Brahian Pokémon AlchemistJust relax and live the game in the moment, Spaz.
Pretty soon that ending will stop hanging over you.
Hell, if you get the EC, the best endings can hardly be called depressing at all. Sad, yes, contrived, possibly, but not the kick in the teeth the original endings were.
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?Norm, please tell me the DLC added an extra ending or something that was actually an ending. I would hate to top off this awesome game series with... that.
Ninja'd.
Hope so. I don't need an ending that's sunshine and butterflies, but I do expect them to actually resolve the fucking plot they started writing across three different games.

MY SOUL IS DARK BUT MY HAIR IS COLORFUL — Brahian Pokémon AlchemistIt does.
It actually changes several major parts of it. Read on if you want assurances.
The Relays are no longer destroyed, just damaged but repairable. The Citadel is eventually restored to its former glory, scenes of the different planets you saved or doomed are shown, your love interest spends a tender moment mourning over your apparent death, you get dedications to your name, the fates of your squadmates are assured in different scenes, from Jack to Miranda to everyone else. A brief flash of the squadmates who gave their lives are flashed before you. And if you pick Destroy and have a EM of above 3100 (pretty easy, actually), then Shepard is shown surviving, barely.
If you screw up bad enough, the cycle will continue, or worse the beam will misfire and kill almost every lifeform in the galaxy.

What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?Even from an observational fan who couldn't afford the games standpoint, I hated the endings. I would probably hate them even more if I had been able to devote my own time and effort into being let down like that, too.
Hell, even failing and being killed by the Reapers was a goddamn resolution. There was closure. It would suck, but the story would clearly be at its end.
Ninja'd again. Not gonna read that to avoid spoiling the surprise.

MY SOUL IS DARK BUT MY HAIR IS COLORFUL — Brahian Pokémon AlchemistWell, in any case, I can guarantee that though the EC endings are sad, that's to be expected after such a war. But the new endings add a sense of hope and closure as well, actually adding a lengthy sequence about ten minutes long showing how you impacted each species and planet and friend.
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?Miranda can die in the Suicide Mission of M E 2, just as any squadmate can.
In the third game She can be killed by a Cerberus assassin if you fail to get in touch with her, give her support or warn her about the assassin. Basically, if you really want to see her dead, either ignore all her attempts to get in contact or refuse to grant her Alliance resources.
Despite everything, plenty of fans say she is Rescued from the Scrappy Heap from what she does in the third game. Her death scene is one of the sadder moments in the game.

What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything? The original ending was made much worse with that horrible message at the end:
BUY OUR DLC!
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?
