You can join, Wig! It's basically only Star Trek-like with the premise of "dudes go off and explore space", you don't need to know anything about Star Trek besides that.
I hope you can join too, Norm!
I've noticed this too, Mobile. I think it's primarily because of how you word things. You're especially polite and mature, even when people have raised tempers. So that's part of it, I think.

UN JOUR JE SERAI DE RETOUR PRÈS DE TOII mean, it makes me feel patronized, really, and sort of like the stuff I'm saying is being agreed with while the content isn't being analyzed and reflected on as it should.
I like that I'm apparently insightful, but like I said, a bunch of that shit isn't exactly insight and I'm starting to think it's just because I use big, nice words sometimes and say sorry and yo and peepsies and use emoticons, and I don't want that extraneous shit to get in the way of the message.
and then they fricked in the bootyI have also noticed the same thing happening with Pyro, and I cannot help but think sometimes that if he were the one online all the time to constantly bring these things up and I was the one that popped in on occasion, we would have the same problem but in reverese.
MY SOUL IS DARK BUT MY HAIR IS COLORFUL — Brahian Pokémon AlchemistTo sum it up, some of us need to grow thicker skin and get rid of our own personal biases.
Bias (and timezones) is likely what caused these drifting cliques in the first place, and thicker skin would've helped in preventing such feelings from being developed.

"Shake the dust." - Anis MojganiVery well put, Badger, and good addition, Rock. We're all human beings here, and we need to be accepting of each other as such. Spazz and Jam are not to my knowledge going out of their way to make anyone uncomfortable, they're just here more than I am and are able to see more issues brewing because of that. Going off of what Spazz said, if I was here all the time and posted something in the discussion every time I recognized an issue, would I be resented?
Other thoughts? I'd like to see some of y'all's takes on this issue. This has been bothering me for a while now and made me hesitant about stepping in during issues, since I'm afraid my input here has become redundant and faux-agreed with and isn't having any effect even though it looks like it is.

@Mobile: Believe me, I've met some rude people on forums I've lurked around. Their way of handling things aren't quite mature and civil.
