It had all of the wasted potential. Deluge was absolute shit. It got beat out by Death's plot, for fuck's sake. And his wasn't even a plot so much as some repetitive boss fights he put together at a moment's notice because he didn't realise suggesting a plot meant GM'ing it, too. And people still liked it better.
MY SOUL IS DARK BUT MY HAIR IS COLORFUL — Brahian Pokémon AlchemistEveryone said they were confused, no matter how often I spelled things out. That's a sign of bad storytelling. Nobody wanted to interact with Cloud because they said he was annoying, so a million things never got explained as well. I failed at character writing. That's my thing. And I fucked up my thing.
MY SOUL IS DARK BUT MY HAIR IS COLORFUL — Brahian Pokémon AlchemistPlease don't dwell on it, though. You weren't ready for having so many players in it at once, so you shouldn't blame yourself so much. I'm sorry if my dumb half-entry and then wuss-out complicated it any. That's why I'm not gonna join any other RP plots until I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that I'll be there for the whole thing.

and then they fricked in the bootyIt was a two month long fuckup with every single character in the confusing, bullshit arc.
You guys weren't even supposed to be able to fight the men in suits, because I wanted to get you to use the city to your advantage. Fighting them was supposed to result in death if you were determined enough about it. But then I figured you would get bored, so I had them die off like common mooks.
MY SOUL IS DARK BUT MY HAIR IS COLORFUL — Brahian Pokémon AlchemistSpaz, I've said everything I can say about Deluge.
I don't regret playing in it at all.
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?Spaz, it wasn't that bad. Heck, it wasn't bad, period. The problems you had weren't your fault, they were ours.
Like this, for example. We didn't figure it out, it's our fault.
UN JOUR JE SERAI DE RETOUR PRÈS DE TOIIt's fine. I should have planned for these things, and for people using non-human characters, but I didn't.
In all honesty, though, I probably shouldn't have let Joe and Dark use Steve and Sonic and Lucario.
@Imca: Not at this time, no, I don't think so.

MY SOUL IS DARK BUT MY HAIR IS COLORFUL — Brahian Pokémon AlchemistAdmittedly, you would have been within your rights as GM to restrict disruptive characters, in the same way that I probably won't let Goku in when my plot is eventually ready.
I mean, can you imagine a Doctor who episode with Goku in it? It would last two minutes.
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything? It was a Jig Saw Puzzle Plot.
Admittedly, that kind of plot isn't for everyone's taste, and not every character is perfect for it.
But it's over now, and you kept it all together and brought it to a nice conclusion.
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything? If it can one-shot the Monster of the Week, it's out.
Beating the baddies through brute force runs against the core themes of the show.
But those three look good enough.
Admittedly, the plot is still in the works.
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?

I've heard a lot of good things about it. Never watched it, though.
