Chrissie's sorta got it.
Basically, it's a project by some university students. Their professor said that if they managed to create a recognized fandom, if slightly niche, they will pass university with scholarships.
The Fandom they're creating is called fanpro. They plan to get over 1000 original character designs in order to create a fandom. The designs are completely free use. There is no canon about them at all. You can draw, Write fanfics, Make videos, they are complete blank slates.
Its currently got a small fandom with 100 character designs. The reason i'm mentioning this is incase you want to either use one of those designs for an OC(like me.) or if you want to help the project by drawing or writing.

Is this really worth making that much of a fuss over? It happened, it took two seconds, and it affected basically nothing. Can we stop bringing this up every time Jam talks about godmodding? I'm sorry, Random, but this is what I meant by your fingerpointing thing.
MY SOUL IS DARK BUT MY HAIR IS COLORFUL — Brahian Pokémon AlchemistYou head to the Fanpro tag on Tumblr!
this is their Tumblr page. With links to all designs and art submitted to them
Feel free to develop your own headcanons and stuff! :D

I'd submit a terribly British stereotype with a large moustache, wearing a pith helmet, while brandishing a Kukiri in one hand and a teapot in the other.
In a Red uniform of course.
Anyhow-
I'll be working over here. On... Holy fuck I've given myself No less than 3 creative projects.
What. These things- they just like. Multiply when I'm not looking.

1.5 imperial gallons of tea were consumed during the writing of this postTwo of them involve this very forum~
Well- one semi-involves this forum, but it goes beyond that.
It's like, the main creative project.
There are people here. That are part of a knowledge-base of it.
And entry is pretty much on an ask-via-PM basis. Sadly most of the updates are half-hour long dev diaries all-audio. Of me and my co-dev talking about the project/ engaging in banter.
The other one involving this forum is an RP i'm working on.
The third? Well- It's a Terrible Novel.

A'ight. Just remember that permadeaths (or hell, even temporary deaths like what happened there) aren't going to happen without your permission. At the end of the day, you get the final say about whether or not your character is dead. No one else can, and if they ever do and you're not 100% cool with it, you have every right to ignore it.
@Sum: I haven't. What be it?
