@Trip: Yes, in part. I'm going to let Hig kick that one off, because I'm not quite sure how to phrase it.
Griff, as mentioned before, has a similar problem; his one personality trait seems to be "asshole". When he's not doing that, he's not necessarily nicer, he's just... bland. Old Griff, with the asshole part removed, has nothing going for him.
MY SOUL IS DARK BUT MY HAIR IS COLORFUL — Brahian Pokémon AlchemistI think the real problm with Old Griff is that Chris doesn't keep himaround long eough for him to even interact. So even if he did have a personality he couldn't show it.
Chris I think you should give Old!Griff a break and acutally plan out what you want to do with him. Then bring him back.
PM box is Closed, Indefinitely Friend Code: 3368-4181-6850Please work on Griff, too. Please. I don't want to keep asking you.
Anyway, Trip, Chrissie, I think you've guessed it by now. It's fine to write with another Troper regularly, but when you just write off of each other for a big, expansive amount of time, things get boring. The interactions between your characters aren't believable. They come off as bland, and repetitive. Once again, I've already pointed this out.
IS THAT ME? AM I THE MOM?This too. Old!Griff's appearances follow a strict pattern:
- Appear
- Smoke cigar in a roomful of children
- "Politely" say he won't do it again... again
- Say generic things
- Go "Well..." if something slightly unusual happens
- At this point, Trip logs on, so he disappears so Griff can appear and do things with Trip and no one else
- Repeat ad infinitum

MY SOUL IS DARK BUT MY HAIR IS COLORFUL — Brahian Pokémon AlchemistI'm gonna do the same actually, I don't think I get fully Lehav's attributes too well, to we, I have akwardness acting him in the FG, mainly because of me misreading things or just him not fitting the situation too well. until I fully write down Lehav's character. I think I'll take a break from the FG. I also want to show other sides of him, But I need for that to get another character into the roo,, Which I'd prefer to plan on ahead for the RP soo...
Silly Question: ... I'm new here so I obviously never ever actually planned such an event, Should I talk about it here or somewhere else?
Also: I just wanted to ask: Is Lehav predictable aswell? as in too predictable or flat? I'm really curious whether I did well with him or not. And I probably need the constructive criticism.

Rock, please let us handle this. I'm not sure you know what you're talking about.
I sound like a broken record over here, but the last two times I informed you of this, I asked you to take some time with Griff and get a plan. Did you do that?
Oh, wait, I thought you meant advice for your character. We're trying to cut down on event planning. Reading a million things at once.
But I haven't seen enough of Lehav to give you a straight answer. Sorry.

IS THAT ME? AM I THE MOM?@Lior: Too early to say. And you don't talk about them period. It spoils the surprise. Unless you plan to do an outright plot (those are banned here, by the way), just relax and have fun.
@Napkins: Event planning, as mentioned before, makes the events sterile and lifeless. Character planning, however, is vital. Even just a little but can be good, but you definitely need something.

The first and most obvious one, I guess... Old Griff doesn't have a personality. It's not that he's more polite than normal Griff. It's just that he's... generic. This has been going on with him for a while, but nothing developed him further like I thought it would.
