Did she also got in Cloud's pants or at least had some brief romance thingy with him?
She looks a bit like black-haired Rin, if I recall correctly. Can't remember the name though.
@Mobile: I'll see what I can do.

The effect is somewhat ruined by dumbass fangirls, though. The usual reason why Cloud is a sympathetic character is because he does try so hard, and almost always fails anyway, or he's lost everything and keeps going out of stubbornness or spite or guilt or because he simply has nothing left to do but that. And the whole time, he keeps quiet about it and pretends everything is fine, because he doesn't want to burden those around him. I don't give two shits about weepy uke Cloud, who is clearly designed to do nothing but garner sympathy (and take it up the ass, can't forget that), because he does nothing, and is not able to do nothing. So there are no stakes, and I don't really feel like anything was lost that was worth regretting. Not to mention he whines all the time.
So he's basically the exact opposite of Cloud. Why are they even writing this character with his name?

MY SOUL IS DARK BUT MY HAIR IS COLORFUL — Brahian Pokémon Alchemist@Spazz: The same reason it happens to every other arguably-attractive male fictional character. People see a pretty face (even if they have to work to make it pretty) and they think, "Ooh he should take it up the butt from this other guy who's more manly, and he should cry a lot, too. Eeee! :3" Pre-established characterization often gets in the way of this impulse, so it's discarded.

Oh gawd, that's a riot. I would try one for myself if I knew anything about being subtle. :B
@Ferg: Ah. Well, like I said, history doesn't have to repeat itself. You know the signs now, so use that knowledge to your advantage. :D
