I'm back. Jesus H. Motherfucking Christ Hangover. What have you done to yourself? You are not a gangster movie. You are a comedy about a pack of idiots dealing with ramifications of their drug induced hijinks.

What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?I've noticed this has been a problem for a while, but it really only reached the point where it needs to be brought up today.
We need to stop mindlessly saying, "You're doing fine" when someone asks. Yes, it is polite. Yes, it's a lot nicer. But it's not helpful, and is guaranteed to cause problems down the road. When you said that and they aren't, not only are you lying to them and patronising them, but it reinforces the problems they have as a good thing. Thus, they don't improve, tensions build until they inevitably explode later, and they keep doing what they're doing whether it's good or not, so you suffer, too. Next time someone asks, "How am I doing?" actually answer their question.
Con-crit is not pointless bitching. It is necessary to improve and grow as a writer. We need to stop walking on eggshells with everything. That doesn't mean bitching about every little thing, but it does mean we need to be honest with each other.
That is all.

MY SOUL IS DARK BUT MY HAIR IS COLORFUL — Brahian Pokémon AlchemistOh, thank you Spazz! I was going to say something about that, but I felt too shy.
Also, I'm not too sure if it's necessary to add in, but even if you don't know the character that person is playing in question, just say to them 'Hey, just stick to how the character should act, here is some guides on that character that could help, or etc. etc.'
Being honest is also the best thing, too!
GO AHEAD .... MR. JOEHSTUR .......

Hearing you clearly, Spaz. What's the problem?
