You sometimes write on impulse. This is a two edged sword, as it leads to clever, spur of the moment writings on your good days, but leads to inconsistency in characterisation on your bad days.
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?Okay. Rando, you have two main faults.
One comes out when playing characters like Majora. You seem to want all of your characters to be nice people, so they'll be likable. SO your more morally black characters end up inconsistent as you try to weed out traits you believe would be negative.
Your second one is that you worry too damn much about your writing and everyone liking what you're doing.

But, yeah. I think an issue you've had is that you do stuff that you think would be cool, without thinking about the repercussions of said things, which, as you've seen, can lead to a lot of trouble. You're not quite worst-case scenario (that would be Czer *shudder*), but, well... look at a shitload of stuff with Majora. Or, in a more minor example, Sagi!Marno. I don't think you planned his development very well.

MY SOUL IS DARK BUT MY HAIR IS COLORFUL — Brahian Pokémon AlchemistOn a more positive note, when you do bother doing spur of the moment things, and they work, they turn out to be quite fun. You also have a fairly expansive character vocabulary, if that's the right term for it. Coming from someone that loathes using two characters at once, this is a good thing to have. You also have the ability to have them play off of each other very well.
I might as well ask the same question he did.
MY SOUL IS DARK BUT MY HAIR IS COLORFUL — Brahian Pokémon AlchemistThis post, then bed for me.
Not much to add flawswise that the others didn't cover. One of your strongest points, I think, is your handling of comedic scenes. You might not be aware of this, but you have a real knack for comedic dialogue and timing. You are also pretty damn solid in the character development department, and as I said before, you do a good job of fleshing out combat-heavy characters.
Oh, shoot, I was too slow again. :( Hope you get to read this before you're off, and I'm wishing the best for you, whatever it is you're going through right now.
Bye, man. Take care of yourself. I hope you come back soon. :)
@Spazz: God, I'd have to think a good while about that. I'll think on it and post something sometime tomorrow if I get the chance.

and then they fricked in the bootyCome back soon!
I ask because I fear that as of late, my merit as the character writer/psychoanalysis bullshit writer has fallen somewhat significantly. More often than not, I've had to fall back on having my characters state how they feel when it becomes clear that my preferred, more subtle methods are not working.
MY SOUL IS DARK BUT MY HAIR IS COLORFUL — Brahian Pokémon AlchemistSome of the time I pick up on the hints, but that's just because I've built up a big understanding of Cloud's character.
It definitely shuts out those less intimate with him.
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?

...Huh. That's a tough one. I would say you're good at characterization, at coming up with memorable characters, and basically cool, memorable stuff in general.
As for faults... I dunno, I can't really think of any at the moment.
