the original idea was to stay up as long as i needed to get this done, since i know the moment i stop there's a high chance i'll lose the motivation to finish it
but my body's telling me to go the fuck to sleep
i do totally wanna give the other two pages the same treatment as the first though
mario is red, i am green, i try my best, but everyone's meanchibi cloud

"I like girls, but now, it's about justice."So I watched Tomorrowland.
The aesthetics and initial puzzle-story was great, but it was really trying to be too many things at once, and suffered for it. It really abandoned its subtlety in the last act, and by that point the plot was a pretty tangled mess. The protagonist felt really out of focus once Clooney came into the picture, and I kinda feel she got cheated out of the resolution she deserved. Hugh Laurie was interesting, but sadly unrealised - his character was wildly inconsistent in motivation.
So yeah. A lot of lost potential, which is a shame, because it's a utopian sci-fi from Brad Bird with all the retro aesthetics I love. I'm so sick of new sci fi stories being afraid to call themselves that, and to see one harken back to classic pulp sci fi was refeshing.
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything? It's worth seeing. The good bits redeem the experience substantially.
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?Oh, it's got problems. But I still don't see how it did as badly as it did at the box office, and it bothers me that the talented young actresses it starred might not get their careers off the ground.
