I was never in the Marvel boat to begin with- but I liked the first Captain America.
And I think I saw Iron Man 3 and 1.
Liked those two.
And... otherwise I'm drawing a blank on what Marvel movies I've seen.
Oh wait, no I think- no, no that was Iron Man 3.
X-men origins wolverine is something I've seen though- with that whole- robot samurai end piece.
1.5 imperial gallons of tea were consumed during the writing of this posta comic called civil war centered around a hero who is the personification of america makes me think less about infighting between the marvel superheroes
and more about some stupid plot where captain america goes back in time to fight in the actual civil war to defend slavery
then spider man asks him "why" and cap just says "to measure my abilities"
Civil War basically revolved around a shitty superhero team failing to stop a whole suburb getting nuked, and thus setting off a whole bunch of litigation.
Iron Man agreed that superheroes needed to work for the government, while Cap wanted to remain independent. What I love about the movie version is that both characters have naturally reached this point, wheras the comic wasn't as well executed. Tony has realised that he can't police the world by himself and that he needs to take responsibility for all the lives he has directly and indirectly put at stake from the moment he first envisioned his suit. Steve has realised that the America he knows isn't the one he fought for and that putting his trust in those above him to wield him as a tool is a recipe for disaster.
The set-up thus far has been perfect.
Also, Spidey looks great. Personally, I think they'll explain the eyes as some sort of focusing lens, or just not explain it at all ala comics. Deadpool got away with it. The CGI looks a little too smooth, but I think this is demo footage, so I'll allow it. I hope most of the suit scenes are physical, though.
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?

im probably gonna see the newest captain america JUST for Spidey
I live in a constant state of fear and misery.
