I have never been in a fight, one sided or otherwise, that didn't happen outside of the dojo. They keep reinforcing that actual fights aren't nearly so cautious and measured, and that it's less of a mindgame of "what are my opponents patterns and how can I get an opening while preventing him from doing the same" and more "holy shit tackle punch punch bite crunch."
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?Oh wait.
No, I just remembered I did have a couple of times in high school where I hit someone in the head with a metal bottle (Y'know one of those water sports kinda bottles), and also stabbed someone with a pencil.
It was pretty early high school though and I was pretty provoked.
Over what, I can't remember.

I'm going to get the best ending of the game at this rate and escape the Underground with all my friends.
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?I can confirm that it at least didn't draw blood.
Hell, I'd say the metal bottle was more substantial than the pencil, 'cause I remember that thing being a little thicker than most aluminium bottles, or at least that's my likely inaccurate memory of it.
And I hit the guy pretty close to his forehead on the top.
Still- no substantial injury.
I nearly got stomped on whilst napping beneath a tree during high school though.
Though I'm not sure whether that was a dream of me thinking it'd happen or if it actually happened.
