this is the most unforunate set of names I've ever come across in close proximity.
AMINE = ANIME = REAL ASIAN NAME
never mind that Tseng is a Chinese name but okay
"Welcome home, Ray," a slender blonde girl called.
(Lia) thought Raieyana. The nineteen-year-old leader of the Undorians ran up and gave her a hug.
And then suddenly Lord of the Rings
And then even more suddenly perspective shift.
This is sort of before beta readers were widely considered essential.

Why does she always keep bugging me? Why does she hate me?
The reasons for this was very simple, even though Cara had never realized it; Tiffany was jealous. Nearly every girl in her school was. I could be because of her sparkling violet eyes or her strawberry blonde hair that reached below her waist. Or it could be because of her petite figure or her beautiful singing voice. But Cara could never think like that, she thought of herself as ordinary at best.
When she came home she immediately locked herself in her room and slumped down on the bed. She stared at the painting that hung over her bed. She had made it herself and it portrayed her all-time favourite character: Sephiroth from Final Fantasy 7. She had felt sorry for him when she had played that game, thinking that he wasnt a bad guy at all. She imagined that they felt the same, no place to belong. Of course, she knew that he was a fictional character, but she still felt like she knew him.
Oh geez Sephiroth apologism/self-insert combos. These were fucking everywhere. With slowly built-up Tifa bashing as an added bonus.

Tseng kissed her with all the love pouring out of his heart like a waterfall. Aeris was the only one that he ever truly loved and had never felt like this about anyone else in his life. Why the sudden change in feeling though ? No, never mind, that thought became even more far away from his mind. Because it didn't matter, nothing mattered anymore.
The only thing that did was that Aeris was in his arms, with her arms around him, kissing him with a love he could feel that was somehow telling him how she feltfrom the way she was now.
Tseng felt like he could almost cry. After all those times, all thosetimes when she would make fun of him, mock him in any sense of the way and spit harsh words at him. That didn't matter anymore. because it wasn't that way.
He pulled away from her to look upon her angel-like facade. His eyes searching for the sparkle that had made him fall for her. The irreplaceable beauty that was in front of him. "Aeris.......I love you...." he whispered. Unknowingly letting his own eyes water.
People being gross about Tseng, not understanding that his creeping on her since she was young is not exactly a good thing.
