Bit of a hint, the bell maiden can be tracked down by listening for the echo, then the bell (which sounds similar to the Beckoning Bell). She doesn't respawn unless you get an ally or ring the Sinister bell.
I'll let you try to find her on your own.
And it's so easy when you're evil... This is the life for me, the Devil tips his hat to me...I don't know it switches from second to second
uhhhh
undertale
the more I think about the timescale implied by the backstory the more I get frustrated, it feels like toby had about three to five distinct ideas of timescale that he sort of just mashed together
to this day I do not understand why rwby became so popular, barring it riding on the coattails of the group it was produced by
but perhaps that's not the best topic to talk about because of rl tragedies and whatnot
miscellanious smt things
is mettaton supposed to be a metatron reference, and if so, is that a reference to the angel or more specifically smt

well I wasn't really talking about toby, more the text itself
just the backstory frustrates me because it does have internally consistent lines
just three to five of them that it feels like can't actually cooexist unless I'm missing something
I really do feel like mettaton has to be at least a reference to the angel given the whole asriel thing (plus the sort-of-satanic framing language of Flowey at the start of the game), just because of genocide spoilers
but yeah if it is it doesn't seem to have much relevance
yes squidchris rwby sympathy
I tried to get into it I really did
but it was just... yeah
I think part of the reason there's (possibly) multiple timescales involved is because you find out different things from the different playthroughs, and, based on the fact that some characters remember you (vaguely) and actions you did differently (comparing your last file to your current one), that possibly is part of the reason for the different time scales.
I dunno why RWBY is as popular as it is. Might be partially due to RT, maybe.
Mettaton being based on Metatron? Possible, but I dunno. I mean, Tsundereplane has Yukari's hat (or at least, that mob cap is similar), but...
And it's so easy when you're evil... This is the life for me, the Devil tips his hat to me...I will get to the Undertale stuff in a sec.
But RWBY became popular because well, Look at this.
Monty Oum was the best at what he did, and people went in expecting more of that.
Unfortunately it did get bogged down by a rather mediocre plot.
PM box is Closed, Indefinitely Friend Code: 3368-4181-6850no yeah the trailer looked great
i thought it was gonna be like dead fantasy — no dialogue, lots of amazing fight scenes, the plot pieced together bit by bit from what was going on
and the fairy tale thing, you know i'm a sucker for that sort of stuff
except then they started talking
and they didn't stop
and i lost interest

I'm not talking about different timelines or anything though, not anything intentional
I'm talking about things that don't match up completely disregarding alternate timelines and SAVE and whatnot
it feels like we're simultaneously expected to believe hundreds of years and a decade at most passed
But with Mettaton that's more of just an idle thought due to name similarities and puns being big in undertale
@Chris: for me it's... pretty much everything
that probably sounds a little harsh but yeah I just don't think it's very good
it feels like someone thought "I will make an Anime And It Will Be Cool" if that makes sense
probably not
I guess at lesat it's not a fnaservice anime? Although it almost felt like one at points, just without any fanservice
if that makes any sense (probably not)
@Jam: the thing is though it's still apparently popular
even amongst people who I would have thought it would never be
see I kind of feel like a dick talking about this at all knowing that there are people in this thread who like it but yeah
it feels almost as if "well of course this has to get popular" so it did
that trailer did look decent though that is true
yyyyyyep
although I always thought that Dead Fantasy was at its best too when it wasn't taking itself remotely seriously and was just pure fun fight scenes
and at its worst when it was trying to be serious

unfortunately that is really all I can do for the day
free interaction on both groups
