Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah
Best conclusion of any Doctor Who Series ever!
So so so so SO GOOD!
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything? It's a British show, that's just how they go.
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?Like I said, my absolute best run in X-COM, and an Ironman run no less. Almost a hundred in-game days faster than world average. Didn't lose a single soldier more than since my last update, despite some scares.
Was so upgraded by the end, it was like a formality killing the end-boss.
And I defeated the aliens so fast that I never ended up going after the Exalt Base, though I'd narrowed them down to three options. But I spent the whole game so far ahead of the curve that Exalt were zero threat to me really - I never lost a single soldier to them.
I actually feel almost proud of my little pretend band of soldiers. They massively surpassed expectations, and I really, really didn't want any of them to die by the end. They were like family to each other, covering each other and splattering aliens happily.
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?I wonder what an X-Com would be like after the whole alien invasion thing.
It would be cool see how things go. Would they end up like Mass Effect and join an intergalactic society of sorts?
Or would it be like Halo and everyone is just kinda perpetually at each other's throats more overtly.
Then again the whole point of X-com is the researching alien shit and becoming more advanced so....

PM box is Closed, Indefinitely Friend Code: 3368-4181-6850The Aliens were testing humanity to prepare them for some big challenge. Whether that's a threat, or some kind of cosmic destiny deal, they wanted to be the ones to lead us to it, once they were sure we were the best canditates.
But not only did humans take a giant shit on those plans by killing the Grand Ethereal and obliterating their largest command ship, we completely surpassed them psionically.
So, my guess is that the Aliens will decide to stay the hell away from the human race and hope all those MEC troopers and genetic enhancements and plasma guns and psychics integrating into modern earth life will kill us for them once the nations of the planet remember how much they hate each other. Otherwise, humanity might just solidify their gains and become the galaxies latest superpower rival to them.
