i wouldn't even call any AS show experimental, for the most part
its more "you're all dumb stoners, you'll just watch any shit if there's lots of colors, swearing and blood"
and well, tim and eric occasionally makes me laugh because of how weird and stupid it is
but yeah, i can still recognize its not very good
Dig is actually useful.
This is so weird.
Toxic/Fire Spin Charizard.
Charizard is a good staller. Go figure.
Gyarados is really good. Excellent Special wall and Special Attacker.
Then it kinda sucked for a couple generations before it got good again.
AAAAA MORE FUCKING WRAP

I AM THE POKEMON MASTER
Fire Spin is garbage and I hate it.
Of course, he wouldn't have had that Charizard if SOME PEOPLE hadn't insisted I pick Bulbasaur as my starter for that LP.
...
...oh good, i won another bulbasaur for my trouble
just what i always wanted even though i fucking released my venusaur out of spite, how did you know
fuck you Oak

I'm surprised how well this is running, to be honest, especially considering how fucking slow DS Pokemon is. I'm getting a nice steady 60 FPS with no stuttering even while watching shit on You Tube in the background. (that makes no sense. wouldn't an N64 have more shit going on than a first generation DS? whatever)
there is the occasional graphical issue that is of note
Gengar, though. Gengar is great. Just use Psychic on everything, and since you're so fast it'll crit half the time too.
the only two stats you needed to pay any attention to were speed and special
Also Psychic was clearly a last minute addition, as was Dragon.
Gen 1 was an unfinished beta and it's a wonder it works as well as it does, why do people hold it up at the pinnacle of Pokemon games? If you're gonna do that at least say "Gen II was best", at least they actually finished Gen II and bug tested it, and it has the same basic mechanics sans some of the utter bullshit.

well to be fair
i guess its not really a big deal in gen 1 because you didn't have as many moves/items/abilities centered around increasing critical hit rates
with things like scope lens and night slash im not sure bringing that back would be a good idea anymore
i never got those people
the special/physical move split was a huge thing and its hard to go back to before it happened for me

project64 is a really good emulator, i've been using it for years
the occasional graphical issues are annoying though
also some roms work in version 1.6 and not in 1.7 which is just weird
"I like girls, but now, it's about justice."Aaaaaaaah I am so so close to finishing my first Ironman run in X-Com. Well, I mean it's not the first I've started but still.
Already testing soldiers for psionic potential, I've exhausted all tech research thus far, my air superiority is almost entirely Firestorms and I have total global satellite saturation, putting the aliens on the back foot and preventing them from launching abductions.
No council nations have left, and I've only suffered three losses in total.
Once I finish this playthrough off, I can play FF-VII to my heart's content.
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?

OH MY GOD
I live in a constant state of fear and misery.
