dead devotion@Jam: truly, he is MOVING THE MEDIUM FORWARD
aaaaaa
man I am just distracting myself from work at this point but RANDOM SPOILER RAMBLINGS ABOUT P3 BECAUSE FOR SOME REASON IT'S BEEN POPPING INTO MY HEAD AS I REVISE DNA REPLICATION AND I WANT TO GET IT OUT OF MY SYSTEM
-I honestly really do not like how in P 3 P you can save plot important deaths with the power of social links. Not only does it not make sense of the mechanism of how this works, it doesn't even really impact on the plot at all. They're still removed from it. Worst of all it runs directly opposite to the game's main theme for the sake of some mediocre feel-good fluff. "Death is inevitable and it comes to us all so you have to live life while you can... except if you like your friends really really much in which case they'll live forever"
-Related to the above, why do people want to revive the P3 MC. Again it's thematically opposed to the game's message, and he wasn't even an actual character, even if you could infer personality from the dialogue choices and you're supposed to get attached to him. Why is this such a requested thing, I don't understand.
-On that note the ending was really quite good and sad. Not much to say here.
-I wish that in social links you didn't have to just blindly agree with someone to get the most relationship points. I guess there's a point to be made that you can do this later in the relationship when they're more likely to listen to the MC, but come on Kenji, what the hell are you doing, no going after a romantic relationship with your teacher is not a good idea, no you should not take advice from a romance manga in this situation Kenji what the fuck.
i accidentally closed this tab and lost all my text
he'll die from the persona drugs anyway you can't save your bro ram
hee
Kenji "I'm a smooth operator; I got skills!" Tomochika
Kenji "I have no concept of TMI in either direction" Tomochika
Kenji "When an actual teacher said private lessons in response to academic difficulties that definitely means she is totally into me" Tomochika
p3p's girl lead was actually done pretty well yeah
the inferred personality is markedly different and a whole new set of social links, wowzers
and yeah that is good

That's another thing
given the "standard reception" many fans had of ken it amuses me that on the fes box art his face is blocked out by the region coding

OH YEAH ANOTHER THING ABOUT P3P
p3p ken social link
no
I don't mind him myself, definitely not like how some people can't stand him, but he's not one of my favourite characters either
Just... eh. He's there. He serves a role in the story. Does some dumb stuff that's in character for him to do.
failure as a human
I'm sorry I just want to take a moment to digress but oh man I love that
moh shuvuu is one of the most commonly sexualised child demons by fanartists
and then in strange journey she straight up mocks people who think "yes this is okay" through the screen

yes
here in this proud nation, terrible beer bubbles from the ground like water
however, harvesting it is dangerous, for drop bears are drawn to the eucalypts to hunt
only a healthy application of vegemite behind the ears can save those who brave these perilous grounds to retrieve our national drink
