I think one of the only things is-
Chester was originally just a salesman of Intellectual Magic. Then he became god.
And spawned an entire setting that I'm going to try and write novels in at some point.
Otherwise, I guess-
The connection between Ian and Junk-bot and how Junk-bot came to be wasn't there when I first played Junk-bot. Because there was no Ian.
I mean, off the top of my head I can't think of early concepts I usually stick with one thing when I've chosen it.
Though Griffin was supposed to be a better guy than the novel-version, and overtime I learnt how to give him more of the traits from the novel. But well- at the end of it, I think really- Griffin is just either more polite, or capable of empathy so the good side is more easily seen because people in the room aren't the same kind of atmosphere as what drives him mad- the people of Iping.
1.5 imperial gallons of tea were consumed during the writing of this postI did just remember the first time I played Simon.
And made him-
Too- too much of a wuss.
Yes he's emo, but jesus christ I wrote a scaredy cat.
But then I played more Cry Of Fear and realized he actually did have some integrity.
1.5 imperial gallons of tea were consumed during the writing of this post@Hil: Hee, good question. You shall see below.
In no particular order:
- Dr. Breen – More two-dimensional and far less sympathetic, was going to be unceremoniously dragged off and shot by Gordon once I got bored of him (which never happened). Otherwise very similar.
- Theresa – A giant unicellular thing who looked like this
◊ because I was a dullard who could not into biology. Much more lax and easygoing, also had psychic powers. Really not sure what personality she had beyond that, as I was remarkably lazy with all my female OCs. Her name was Petunia.
- Gregor – Kind of the same, although I think I originally conceived him as being a mutated pig. Also, I think he was a bit more shonen. His name was Gray.
- Bucky – Very similar, albeit with ears
◊ as depicted in this terrible chibi thing. His name was Ted.
- Gila – A gharial
◊, otherwise very similar. I was considering having it to where only Bucky knew the true extent of his intelligence, and all his other siblings thought he was just like some dog or something. His name was Acid.
- Castlah – Was going to be a lot cockier/more confrontational and a lot less unstable.
