LOOK WHO IS BACK.
So yeah, anyway long story short, after a good bit of stuff that I won't go into here, Lionel decided that a splendid idea would be to write a series of books.
Books which apparently had the specific aim of being TEH MOST POWERFUL FICTION EVER.
And let me tell you, they are an amazing read.
Naturally, people mocked him for this after he used these characters in a "Who would win thread" designed to show everyone else just how strong his characters were. One thing that was pointed out to him was that the books weren't even published.
At that point, after being told how silly this whole concept of creating characters just to be strong was Lionel decided on something very important.
Can you guess what this was boys and girls?
I know that feeling.
It was one of the reasons that introducing Light was so delicious for me.

In our heart, Mr. Ando will always be a penguin.@stonedog: Indeed.
@Spaz: Yeppers.
@Rivux: Well you see you little orphan, I think he probably went to a legitimate publisher at first, was laughed at and sent home.
So naturally, he took this lesson to heart and self published his books instead. Those pesky publishers just don't know good fiction when they see it.
And now I must go again for a bit.
In our heart, Mr. Ando will always be a penguin.@Pent: Nah, they've only sold 5 copies, and those copies were only sold because of jokes people played on their friends.
What did happen was that he realised that he could not sell them on power alone. Now at this point, most people would think, "Hmm. Perhaps I should attach something resembling a plot to this feats list."
Lionel is not most people.
Lionel decided that he would make his books DEEP and SYMBOLIC.
@Rivux: I try.
@Jam: Sorry, I'm still catching up too. Oh wait you posted that 40 minutes ago. Nevermind.
