hey guys
how's everything
today i started writing a story
"I like girls, but now, it's about justice."okay so
I'm going to write this with proper punctuation because it's easier that way.
This story is set in a world that was, until not too long ago, your average high fantasy setting. Medieval-style humans, elves, dwarves, gnomes, halflings, orcs, trolls... And magic, lots of magic.
However, a few hundred years ago, the humans started evolving. They turned from your average fantasy humans into a massive steampunk society, and ditched magic altogether. They also started expanding all over the world, to the detriment of other races.
By this point in time many races have been wiped out, and many others have seen their numbers severely reduced. Halflings are gone, elves are probably gone, some groups of dwarves survive in the mountains where humanity cannot reach, orcs survive as looting wanderers, and trolls? Trolls are who the story is about.
The story follows Bomki, a grumpy elderly troll from the Broken Branch tribe. The Broken Branches are the last remaining troll tribe. Another remaining troll tribe, the Windy Valley tribe, has been recently wiped out, so they are the only ones remaining, and their numbers are dwindling, being only seven or eight individuals altogether.
Bomki's wife, Ginka, is the tribe leader. She descends directly from Old Troll Sages, a small group of wise trolls who troll society owes pretty much all their culture to. Descendants of the Sages have hidden knowledge and can use Trollish Magic, which other trolls can't use, so they are commonly called Magic Trolls. Troll law says that the oldest member of a tribe shall be their leader, and since Magic Trolls are particularly long lived, they've been ruling for generations.
Under the Magic Trolls the Broken Branches moved from their original settlement into the depth of a forest called the Whistling Forest, which has allowed them to survive. They were considered great leaders, but now Ginka is the only remaining Magic Troll, and she's dying.
One day, Bomki wakes up to find that his wife is not beside him in his bed. He goes looking for her and finds her outside, in the rain, turning to stone: The troll version of dying. After some tearful parting words, she passes.
Since Bomki is now the oldest troll, he is the new leader of the Broken Branches. His wife has left for him a huge library of Magic Troll wisdom, but otherwise he's on his own as the first common troll to rule the Broken Branches in eons.
Will Bomki be able to pull it off? Can he make the tribe prosper through these difficult times?
You'll have to find out.
holy shit that was long i'm sorry

"I like girls, but now, it's about justice."

Then the whole thing would be rendered null and void.
