British Politics this week: ring out the death bells for Labour.

"The Labour Party is now a threat to our national security, our economic security and your family's security." Also David Cameron outright saying Labour is a threat to national security.

And the Tories too apparently.

Oh yes, totally.

The election of this guy who is far-left, so far that everyone's saying its' a step back and will make Labour unelectable.

3 Shadow Ministers, including the Chancellor, left within the first day of him being elected as Labour leader.

I don't see what's so objectionable about him, myself.

It's not like he's the left-wing version of the BNP or anything.

Hey wait if Labour becomes unelectable maybe the Lib Dems will get more votes oh who am I kidding the Tories will just scoop them all up

Well- he wants to disarm TRIDENT and leave NATO.

He's being vague over Europe saying he just wants it to be a "Better Europe"

And he's thinking of nationalizing all the industries.

He's also anti-royalist, but apparently he isn't fighting that battle.

Also-

I wish that'll happen. I don't like this wave of blue going on right now. Already they've added more loans for students.

Yeah.

David Cameron's twitter is scary sometimes.

I am unfortunate to have Twitter remind me through email of his tweets every now and then.

It's probably a bad idea for him to say much about Europe right now.

As the referendum on it looms on the horizon.

Maybe.

But yes. His foreign policy is probably the weirdest part, and it might go against the prevailing attitudes.

Conclusion: vote for the SNP.

Even though you're English.

I'm still going to vote Lib Dem, probably.

I'm anticipating that Labour might actually split like it did back in the 70s I think.

When the Social Democrats left Labour and fused with the Liberals.

Forming- the Lib Dems.

better than the american left, where everyone is either a little bitch who can't do anything or just a slightly less conservative person calling themselves a democrat

Indeed.

The British Left has, and always will be- a mess that can't live up to the days of Attlee.

Off the top of my head.

I can think of four leftist parties with some amount of importance.

The Greens, the SNP, the Lib Dems, and Labour.

Well okay the Greens are kind of a stretch because they have what, one MP.

But still.

I'd vote for it.

Use the Monster Raving Loony party's policies.

[up] Greens are definitely popular.

But like the Lib Dems- the problem with them is that they have a lot of wide support, but not enough support to breach the first past the post in any particular constituency.
