@Imca: I'll be honest, I haven't really seen that.
But maybe this is a communications issue where people have felt like they can't ask questions prior to a plot actually being voted in.
@Squid: Well yeah. But I think a whole lot of this is just clarifying/guarding against assumptions and some poor wording.

I'm pretty sure it's always worked like that. Where is Legion and the Doctor? Back at the room, because I hate playing more than one character while a plot is going on. There aren't character limits while a plot is on, and when there is the gm must choose for themselves what will work best.
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?Yes, I do, yes, you did, don't worry about it, it's cool, and the latest I can risk staying up is midnight this time. So half an hour tops.
Fucking hate morning shifts. Just two more weeks of little old ladies balancing their bowls fucking sideways against a trash can instead of putting them in another goddamn bus tub.

(@riv/duff) just to give my final opinion. you're the G Ms, I'll go with what you wanna do and what keeps the plot train rolling. Cause right now it's been stalled out for a month and I don't think anyone wants to see a repeat of what happened in the last half of last year, no offense to you spazz.
Imca, the fact is that the GM is entitled to make new decisions on the fly if it would otherwise hamper their plot. Sometimes they don't adequately foresee problems and need to adjust after they're voted in. It's inconvenient, but necessary.
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?It's always worked like that, yes.
But I think people are searching for something that can just be codified, because they were worried about what it could possibly be.
also norm I think you typo'd
@Imca: That's fair, I was gone for a long time.
However. I was also here for both Ram's plotvoting and Duffux's plotvoting. Which is what I was basing it on, to be honest.
What space and Bcom said that is what I meant.
@Norm:I get where you're coming from but having a totalitarian GM rule is just going to suck the fun out of the RP because no one will really agree with it. People will be focused on the fact that they're being limited rather than the experience of the plot.
That said I think people would be willing to accomdate their GM should they simply ask.

@Jam: GM consultation is indeed very important for a healthy relationship between players, but ultimately the GM should be the one with the final decision.

What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?

@Squid: Essentially
They won't exist for the sake of the plot where they have to be limited to one character
But they still exist as characters so that inbetween plots stuff can happen with them, and players can pull characters from them
