You know what sucks?
The fact that the ages of swordsmanship in the east and west didn't align.
By the time Europe had a real stake in Asia, it was all about firearms.
I can't help but imagine how the fighting style of a knight armed with a shield and longsword would go up against a samurai with katana and wakizashi. Just how different they'd be, and how the match-up would go.
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?because i cant stop asking questions
is this like the previous Old!Liman where she still had contact with von and kat even though the room!von and kat havent talked to her since she left
cause
it would be reeeeal sad if they didnt talk at all
and it's been (at least for liman) like 4 years
I live in a constant state of fear and misery.Naturally fear from all the sudden changes.
And most wouldn't know what to do, so suddenly everyone is very cautious around Nonsduin-
Because hell if they're going to attack a nation that had a sudden leap in technology, and is renowned for defensive tactics, and being incredibly hard to conquer.
And if Nonsduin decided to expand, it'd be easy to do so. Most would likely surrender, rather than face annihilation.
As for those in the Aetherial realm- they'd be- well- surprised and intrigued, but ultimately at least some might welcome this since the closer it becomes to a singular mass of people in the material plane- the potential for the gods to gather enough power through faith to reunify the Aetherial planes (their original plan, and purpose for having followers) would become more and more achievable.
1.5 imperial gallons of tea were consumed during the writing of this postVirtually unbeatable for immediate neighbors-
Campaigns would get harder as news spreads-
And then you have people deciding- "We need to increase how much magic our armies know." in desperation, which would probably work in some regards.
As well as the fact that you can't take a globe in a single year when its' fractured and divided.
Because of the sheer size. It'd take years, and in years- some spies would perhaps be able to get copies back to their home nations, and use it to make their own versions. Which would probably be inferior but would play the part well.
There is also the issue of actually holding the empire- some time would need to be spent making sure you have enough troops to hold places to begin with- and making sure people are loyal.
1.5 imperial gallons of tea were consumed during the writing of this posti feel like if people at that time had tech like that
they'd get incredibly cocky and that would just lead to their downfall
they relied so much on the tech that they just got lazy with everything
and a few powerful armies ran in and cleaned house when they weren't expecting it
