From what I understand its interaction based rather than plot.

Tell me if I'm wrong, but I believe you can just drop on in there. But there will be a huge post putting all our chunks and shit into place.

Basically.

So there's this being called The Cure, who is this pan-dimensional being who has grown very, very bored and decided to steal chunks and individuals from across dimensions, assemble them into new islands and continents and incite conflict between them.

There's this meeting room where all the leaders were summoned. There's a big holographic map of the world, and a field that prevents people from aggressive action, jamming bullets, robbing the energy from sword swings, etc. It's a place where leaders meet up, make alliances, declare war and such.

People without a chunk start up in a room connected to the meeting room by a portal. This room reflects an environment they're familiar with and lets them restock and rest somewhere safe, and they can return via portal, at any time I think.

People with a chunk get a single permanent portal connecting to the meeting room. Only a few people can go through the portal at a time, I believe. I'm going to ask for more info on it later to specify some things.

At the moment, most chunks are finding their feet, exploring their neighbours and seeing to strengthening their defences.

What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?

They'd probably had to have been, really.

  • The first to finish (Frederick Lorz) cheated by riding a car between miles 9 and 19. He got banned for a year.
  • The second to finish (Thomas Hicks) would have been considered a cheater as well by today's standards because he doped by drinking brandy mixed with rat poison (in small amounts it improves the nervous system). He nearly died in the stadium.
  • The fourth place finisher (Felix Carbajal, a mailman by trade) arrived in his work uniform and en route stopped to snack on a roadside apple orchard, which gave him a stomachache and he had to take a nap in the middle of the race.
  • Len Tau, one of the first black Africans to compete in the Olympics, wasn't even there originally for them - he was there for a side exhibit on the recent Boer War and just decided to run for the hell of it. He finished 9th, though he probably would have done better had he not been chased a mile off course by aggressive dogs.

The damned queen and the relentless knight.
