Ah, the spin-off phase.
40k games have been in that phase for the past three to four years.
We got a virtual 40k chess game recently, a browser-quality adaptation of Epic Armageddon that was anything but, cookie-cutter thumbstick shooters, you name it.
Now that the Dawn of War series is dead, and the Space Marine series has petered out for reasons unknown, all we get are shitty overpriced garbage. Which fits the tabletop game perfectly.
I must have hundreds of dollars worth of Space Marines over the years, all lovingly painted.
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?![]()
Yeah. Also, the other two characters I'd like to play are already similar to Homura and Sayaka.
Kinda afraid that my wishful non-canon-ness (i.e., Homura becoming friendly with Sayaka and trying not to be the devil) would be an issue, as well as mixing up the version I've forged here so far with that one.
Another obstacle with Mitakihara would be that there's no real easy to pick leader, at least not in terms of providing civil services and reconstruction (if I go for it, my current plan is to base it off of one of the Golden Endings of the PSP game where Madoka is not a Magical Girl, the others are still alive, and they know they're basically liches but can deal with it because they have each othernote - especially useful for Mami). But the oldest of these is Mami (technically), and they all should still be in school - the only one in the know that could ever be qualified to run a municipal administration is Kyubey.
With Fuuka, on the other hand, there's already a ready governing body in place (potentially more than one) - Fuuka Academy director Mashiro Kazehana (who looks all of six years old and is in a wheelchairnote ), the Absurdly Powerful Student Council (Shizuru, Reito, Haruka, technically Yukino), First District (shadowy group that Mashiro answers tonote ), and maybe whoever remains Searrs.

The damned queen and the relentless knight.

That's not entirely wrong.
Unless you somehow thought it was a MOBA.
Which it was, once, actually.
Y'know, the experimental spin-off phase.
