also quick reference it irritates me when people mess this up:
Old English - Beowulf, unrecognizable to Modern English, similar to Gaelic
Middle English - Canterbury Tales, recognizable, if a bit peculiar, odd spellings and syntax in places
Modern English - If you need help on this one please drink some bleach, Shakespeare is early modern english, funnily enough
late but
suzy: final girl because adorable shy damsels that look young enough are always rescued
alice: the moment the first kill is made, everyone riddles her with bullets since she's monster enough, explaining why nobody just shoots the villain
gertrude: killed at the exact same time as claire. the deep guttural voice saying "DOUBLE KILL" is the first hint to the monster
