Come to think of it, when's the last time Silver did anything Pokemon related?
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?trip how is this your first time noticing this
although you'd have a better job saying "MC has power that hard counters the final villain", as jojo doesn't really do the "strongest stand" thing and that's more accurate anyway
if you want to really stretch it you can even extend the comparison to earlier games
persona 1: the one that started it all, many people advise you to skip it, but older fans of the series hate people even suggesting that. Is no-one's favourite anyway, despite laying the ground for what was to come.
persona 2: most people start with three and have thus never encountered this entry. Very much different from the later parts. Older fans will swear that this is the single best entry. Ancient Mayans and Nazis are very important to the overall plot.
persona 3: the entry that caused the series to become far more popular, greatly changing the mechanics, which had been fairly straight forward before. The entry that first gained popularity in the west. Heavy focus on the tarot deck. Punchghosts.
persona 4: the real slice of life entry, etc etc, everything you've said.
I
don't actually think it is tbh
like, you can say that Romeo and Juliet involves the "star-crossed lovers" trope, but what does that actually add to the analysis of the text?
you can say as much in other words, and grouping all examples together as one definable trope is reductive in my eyes
maybe I'm just unreasonably biased
but I still do dislike the fact I can't even use it without thinking of this place anymore
