Reminds me of that awesome riding-lizard Obi Wan rode in Episode III.
The first victim of Order 66, sadly.
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?Fuck that, I like the prequels.
Episode II is the only one that grates on me. Bad pacing, too many quiet scenes. An awesome investigation plot that was weighed down by the second plot of Anakin and Padme.
If I'd been in charge of the screenplay for that Episode, I'd have done my best to blend the two plots together a little more meaningfully.
Padme would have left Coruscant undercover to track down her assassin and avoid endangering others, and Obi and Anakin would have followed after her, while learning more about Kamino and Fett and the rising Separatist menace, while Anakin and Padme get decent scenes together with this lingering sense of danger and deliberately imperfect relationship on top of it, since they're courting each other while on a gritty mission to the Outer Rim that is uncondoned by the Republic and it goes like all romances I write for my characters. They get to Geonosis, get captured, it proceeds as normal from there.
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything? That's basically it. Rather than Padme and Anakin sitting on Naboo, they're actually doing something useful while falling in love with each other. It worked with Leia and Han, so it should have worked there.
Eh, it's an agreeable enough movie as it is, anyway.
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything? At least by III the prequels knew just what they were.

None of these completely ruined the movies for me.
I just don't think Anakin was a good character at all, and he's way too important to overlook. Plus they made Samuel L Jackson boring, which should be a capital offense.
The Clone Wars made Anakin likeable in a way no other work has.
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?Anakin was not a well written character I'll say that. But still think he was well acted. What'shisface that did him in three made him seem actually indimidating and did a good job of portraying him slowly growing more bitter and hateful.
Clone Wars are amazing though.
