Might not be here for very long, and I probs won't be able to RP until later.
Had another weird dream, this time not so disturbing as just baffling.
Half-Life 3 had finally become an official thing, and there were several promotional trailers coming out for it. But instead of saying anything at all about the story or new gameplay elements or shit, they decided to focus on how Gordon suddenly had a personality, and he was this friendless, family-less rather unhinged nutcase who doesn't say anything merely because he's a psycho.
I found this development disappointing since it didn't match up to my doofy headcanons and it seemingly contradicted the prior characterization that Alyx, Barney and several other people felt comfortable around him to consider him a good friend.
Then they revealed that Gila of all people was somehow in the game as a supporting character, and they made him sound like Chewbacca from Star Wars. There were also a bunch of other lizards like him, and I guess they were like a new alien race or something? At first I was like, "hell yeah, they put my OC in, that's fuckin' awesome", but then I got worried because I faceclaimed him and was afraid that the guy who originally drew him on deviantART would be upset at the misattribution of his likeness.
Then there was the surprise involvement from Aperture Science, but for whatever reason they had one of those buildings with bounce houses in it instead of the Borealis, and it was run by a bunch of really creepy, condescending human employees. Claudia may or may not have been there.
Then I woke up.
make it through this year if it kills you yet | 2001-2019Maybe- Barney, Alyx and such- treat him as a good friend because they're also psychos.
They're just good at hiding it.
Or the entirety of half life is a hallucination dream from when Dr. Freeman got exposed to the radiation from the experiment in the first game.
G-Man is just the therapist checking in every now and then.

You saw that G-Man usually enters and exits through doors, right?
Could be the door to the cell that Dr. Freeman is in, in the mental hospital.
Everything started going wrong, for some reason a man never trained in guns is suddenly capable of more than most soldiers, after the resonance cascade.

Half-life.
The title would make sense if it's a radiation dream, because otherwise- the games don't deal with radiation all that much, IIRC.
Plus, the 'world' around him pauses in HL 2 with the G-Man hallucinations.
Then, G-Man usually either fades out, or exits... through a door.
Also- I thought I read that the most of his experience was a tennis ball launcher in 6th grade or something.
