I'll try to.

But- yeah.

Shogun II is probably a damn good bet.

If I recall- it's a game that still has the assassination animations.

Yes it does!

Loved these things.

None of them in Rome II.

Edit: Ninja fails.

I played the first Shogun - I loved those assassination videos. Especially with the geisha.

The damned queen and the relentless knight.

They're awesome. I love the one at the end that I linked- where the Ninja gets stuck in the window, and is just pushed out.

Medieval 2 Total War has them too.

Empire and Napoleon have those videos for gentlemen's duels.

Rome II is a let down.

They only have a cutscene for a noble death.

No it's just the videos.

Mostly.

There's humor in them, definitely.

But it's mostly straight.

I mean- the credits song for Medieval 2 Total War is actually a bit anti-war.

Yeah it's basically all in the traits-

and then those traits impact on the speeches your general gives.

Which sadly do not last into the more later games ;-;

Speeches are basically non-existent in Rome II.

well.

There are speeches.

But you basically have to hug the general with your camera because it's done while in-battle.

rather than before-battle.

But they are generic from what I hear.

But yeah.

Rome II pre-Emperor Edition.

Note: This is how it was for a lot of people.

Except me.

It was glitchy as hell for some people.
