It depends.
I mean- I think you can pay by card for the underground.
But if you're literally only there for a couple of days, and you don't think you're going to buy anything.
Then it probably isn't worth it. And most places do take card, anyhow.

Should be able to find one in the Airport.
Because I'm assuming that you're not taking the Eurotrain.
And both Heathrow and Gatwick should have a shop inside that sells them.
But if you don't want to over-pay I'm sure that if you go to somewhere like Currys or PC World (They're actually both the same company now) that you might find one.
