I briefly knew this girl in community college who had some very serious learning disorders. I don't even know how she got past the college entry exams. She was trying to get into the reserves too, but she couldn't pass the test. I hope she's okay wherever she is now. We were study buds in A&P, but she just kinda dropped off the map.
make it through this year if it kills you yet | 2001-2019I really, really suggest giving this a good read, Spaz.
As great as this sounds, staying informed never hurt anyone. There's a few recruiters out there who'll say anything to get you to sign over the next few years.
And make sure you ask about how they'll manage the issues arising from your gender, because this is the army we're talking about.

I mean, in canon she mellowed out a lot, but am I taking that too far?
Do plenty of research, Spaz. My cousin got it straight from them, the good and the bad, and decided he'd go for it anyway. That might be the case for you, and it might not. The best decision is always an informed one.
