Yes, which is the reason why sims 3 is so superior to 2.
However 4 is going to SUCK.
They already anounced it wont have children, or pools, both of those are for expansion packs.... makes you wonder what else they choped out.
It spies on you, and is 100 times more bloated then steam.

Also, I kind of have this REALLY weird feeling about Mass Effect 3
Like...
I really REALLY enjoyed it
even more than 2
but...
Like...
It's even LESS of an RPG than the second one was.
The first game felt more like an RPG, since there's actual exploration (that... kinda sucked), inventory management, and a lot of situations that don't just involve shooting things in the face
not that I don't like shooting things in the face, mind
But ME 3 just feels more like a straight-up third person shooter
A good one, mind
And it's even more cramped and linear than 2 was
like... pretty much all of the shooting is in tight corridors
Shit... I remember a bit in the first Mass Effect where I was sniping these assholes from atop a cliff probably about a mile away
War is God.Mass Effect 1 had the biggest impact on me, just from it's aesthetic.
The sequels watered down the unique aesthetic just a tad to make it more consumer friendly.
I loved the atmospheric 80s music and the classically inspired skin-tight space-suits and the whole presentation of it.
Sequels downplayed this just a tiny bit by putting in more orchestral themes and making the body armour a bit more bulky and space-mariney.
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything? This is one of my favourite pieces of music in the entire world, no exaggeration.
The sequels kept most of the eighties feel, which I respect them for, but ME 1 was less of a calculated hit and more of an experiment.

What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything? That's funny, I actually really liked the Noveria
theme
I thought the balance of orchestra and electronica in the sequel was really cool
I love that idea
but then... 3 just kinda... neutered it and it all just felt pretty samey
War is God.The flare is from the mass effect field generation, or rather the waste heat from said field.
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?![]()
That's a good question considering that the guns in Mass Effect are essentially railguns which... do not use gunpowder of any kind and instead use element zero as a conductor to accelerate small particles at a fraction of the speed of light
uhhh...
Dunno
Probably less to do with realism and narrative consistency and more to give the guns more weight and power
Or... that

War is God.

Enjoy your awkward loading screens.
You need Origin for 3, right? I hate origin. It's everything Steam should never be. It actually encourages a lot of piracy just to avoid it.
