I'm not sure new-Sayaka would be like that - I was thinking along the lines of Episodes 7 and 8.
Incidentally, is time-skipping a fight scene an option? Like, I'd like to preserve the interactions between characters before and after, but as mentioned the actual fights tend to take an ungodly amount of time and energy.
The damned queen and the relentless knight. That's up to the players participating.

try not to hotlink tropes into your writing. instead, let the writing do the work
if you need to clarify, then instead of "heh, yeah sure", try "-with a sarcastic tone- heh, yeah sure", or "heh, yeah sure -sarcastically-"
or if you wanna go prose mode, "'Heh, yeah, sure' Bob said, sarcastically."

(shrugs) Eh, Seer.
Also, I agree that fights are time-consuming. But they're fun and contribute to the roleplaying aspect, and it feels like an anticlimax once you time-skip immediately to the end. I'd only use it perhaps as a last resort due to RL obligations.

I Pot Hole stuff just because I can, or to give additional information and context. Deal with it.

A'ight, dude. I suggest joining early in the day, if that's doable. Things are usually pretty calm then.
