Speaking of avatars - thanks again, Mobile.

Can you please give me some tips on how to cut a picture down to a 100x100 icon without making it too big for uploading? Every icon I make always ends up like that.

Yo, no prob! There's tons of freeware image editing software, like GIMP and Paint.net, that will give you a set of Photoshop-like tools such as image scaling. If you get an image cropped into a perfect square, you can scale it down to 100x100 and save it as a .gif or .jpg, both of which have small filesizes. I prefer .gif, but if you crank the quality of a JPEG all the way up, it'll look nice and not be very huge as long as it's 100x100 or smaller.

Gimp can normaly even put a PNG in the 20kb range.

It has by far the best size reducing methods in the freeware area.

I find Rennor's attempts to make Julie happy to be equally endearing and cringe-inducing.

I just usually use paint.

It's actually pretty good at compressing jpegs and you get more control over cropping than you used to.

What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?

Now that I'm finally home AND have found my notes, I think I'll put this up. Been sitting on the damn thing for nearly two years...

Once upon a time, there were two mighty kingdoms at uneasy peace with one another. They traded with each other, and their citizens were free to mingle. This peace was broken, however, at the advent of a marvelous creature, whose eyes were said to see into other worlds, and who, once every aeon, would lay a single golden egg.

Many nobles, lords, and ladies, having learned of this creature, sought it, sending their best knights to secure it for themselves — not simply out of base greed, but of fear, for this egg was cursed. Should it fall into the wrong hands, disaster should befall the two kingdoms, and ruin would surely come to all.

In the midst of the chaos, the two kingdoms uneasily forged a fragile alliance in their combined self-interest — it was decided that whomsoever were to capture the wondrous beast and return it to either royal family should receive a single wish.

And so begins the tale of...

The Golden Bird

So, yeah. This actually takes place in an original setting of mine, and borrows heavily not only from Grimm's and Hans Christian Anderson's fairy tales, but older folklore, too. How well you do here will depend upon how well-versed you are in such stories, and how well you know their rules.

Let's add the Singapore government's defensiveness and attitude to public opinion to that ultra-nation from one page ago.

(@Spaz) Truth be told, Marisa's clearly holding back (She still says Cirno could have been trouble if she didn't hold back, though), but the fan pandering thing is still there. Cirno is clearly stronger (she can freeze danmaku bullets if she tries, after all).

Eh... honestly, from an outside perspective it honestly just looks like they had Cirno win because people like Cirno.

Anyone else have something to submit, or should I lock 'em up?
