Since you're in the Gear Conversion group, I'mma put you up to speed for that group alone.
The room is set upon by a giant Megadeath-class Gear and splits the group apart. Fen, Alpha, Solaire, Karkat and of course Jekyll/Hyde were knocked unconscious by the Gear. They were found and captured by an unknown group and experimented on over 2 months.
By the time, 2 months pass, the group members are full-fledged Gears and are just about to be put under the group's services until a Gear named Testament finds them and; with a small army of other Gears, frees the group. I left off when they were ascending through the floors ready to finish off the head honcho of the operation.
I'll handwave Jekyll/Hyde as being handled in a separate wing due to the nature of his split personality, along with the powers they gave him, making him far more unstable than the others.
Oops! Hi there Box!

"Shake the dust." - Anis MojganiAl right.
So where would he be.
@Box: You are undeserving of my attention.
Though also I've been moving some stuff and packing things.
The movers are around and are taking a lot (Basically all) of the furniture.
I am literally sitting on a pile of blankets right now.

Professional movers are a lot better at moving desks than I am.
This is a fact.
They were able to get my desk downstairs in less than five minutes.
I'm pretty sure it was a 15-minute effort when we were trying to get the desk upstairs, way back when I got it.
What have I missed?
