UN JOUR JE SERAI DE RETOUR PRÈS DE TOILASUDHFLASKJDGFASLDHZC I AM ABOUT TO STRANGLE THIS COMPUTER.
My father just installed a new antivirus programme in our computer, because he didn't like the old one or something.
It just deleted all my editing tools. All of them. And when I tried downloading them again, it deleted those too. And there isn't even an option to say "I know what I'm fucking doing, let it go already god dammit." Hell, even Norton Antivirus had that.
So, looks like I'm not getting anything done anymore.
MY SOUL IS DARK BUT MY HAIR IS COLORFUL — Brahian Pokémon AlchemistOh fuck!
Are you positive there's no way to get around that? There's gotta be a way to allocate certain files and programs to a safe category. That's pretty much what every major anitvirus software has to do.
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?None. Fucking nothing. I've checked.
The most you can do is send in an email to the staff saying something got marked as a false positive, which I have. Hopefully they'll get back to me in the next few days or something.

MY SOUL IS DARK BUT MY HAIR IS COLORFUL — Brahian Pokémon Alchemist...
I think your new software is a step back, in that case.
Doesn't sound like it gets updated as often as others, or have a lot of user gathered data and feedback that one gets from being allowed to mark files as safe.
A lot more rigid than Norton, which I use. Nothing wrong with Norton.
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?Really? Never noticed. Then again, this is a pretty decent machine I'm running.
Anyway, don't give up. You've overcome plenty of problems before, and unlike them this one has an immediately apparent solution.
What antivirus program is this, by the way? There's gotta be a help forum somewhere.
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?Avast? Seriously? Huh. It's a pretty big name. You'd think it would be a bit more flexible.
Found this:
Go to Avast's Settings and add the file to The list of Exclusions, if you are sure its safe. .. I have the free Avast and I found the exclusion list as the 6th tab down on the left.

What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?I've seen that.
Thing is, there is no exclusions list. Not on our version, at least. I dunno, maybe he bought a weird version.
Wait, FOUND IT! Finally. Silly me, they hid it under another two layers of unrelated-looking tabs. Of course, how obvious.

MY SOUL IS DARK BUT MY HAIR IS COLORFUL — Brahian Pokémon AlchemistThat can't be right. The setting should be there somewhere.
Avast forums are down right now anyway. Because of a virus attack. That's troubling.
