you all remember that episode of justice league right
where that alternate universe mutant boy creates a psychically generated 1950's adventure town
with all of his favorite dead superheroes alive and well and he's their plucky sidekick
and all the citizens are real but trapped and forced to play their roles in the town

and the 1950's heroes save the league and defeat the mutant boy
knowing full well now that they are nothing more than telepathic constructs and that they will immedieately cease to exist once they defeat this boy but doing it anyway to save the people because that's what heroes do and oh god i'm tearing up

that show's good but you should also watch the original
do you remember that episode of unlimited where the little girl with the immense psychic powers was wreaking havoc and altering reality
but she was like dying from a degenerative disease or power overload or something
and batman beats her by going into her fortress sitting with her on a swing and comforting her as she quietly dies

Good news everyone.
I checked my school Email and I don't have to go into school!
Because the teacher has set essays and as a good will gesture is allowing people to do them at home so-
She said to stay at home with the dog, and do the Essay.
1.5 imperial gallons of tea were consumed during the writing of this postand there's an episode of the original series where Solomon Grundy teams up with the good guys to kill a big cosmic demon to get his soul back
and he ends up sacrificing himself to save the team
and as he's dying in hawkgirl's arms hawkgirl lies about her atheistic beliefs in order to reassure Grundy that his soul is waiting for him in the afterlife
and he replies that he got his reward and dies happy
So that's actually LJ
ok cool
Also- in the RP.
I am incredibly tempted to have the Radioman call the police on them early.
And just- the radio starts playing Martha Reeve's "Nowhere to run"
