Shorter terms? Two weeks to one month maybe? That might make it easier/less of a burden.

See if feel like two week is to short maybe a month? But maybe it should be left up to the gms? Since you know someone might find more stressful then someone else?

OTOH, too short of a term is liable to lead to voter fatigue, especially if there are any sort of term limits in play.

Discord isn’t working for me but a minor correction

I made a typo and referred to Holly living “atop Tassel Town.” She actually lives atop Tassel TOWER, which is a huge stone tower on the edge of town. For reference, characters should know that they are not allowed up or even inside Tassel Tower, only Holly is. It was late and I apologize for not including this in my initial post.

All players will be given one Dragon Stone as compensation.

DISPUTE GM NOMINATION HOUR

And by hour I mean weekend.

I don't imagine the process should be any more complicated than last time, just say whether you want to step up and we'll add your name to the voting poll.

The proper term would be "ballot".

I'm not up for Dispute GM, but I felt like I should probably bump the thread...

I know I've got my problems but since no one else seems to have thrown their hat in, I guess I'll say "YO I WANNA DO IT"

not to add in unnecessary chaff but there is no way i want or would accept this position

kind of redundant given recent events but i want to make it real clear that i'm not here to do that shit

Alright, so, just a formal update on the state of affairs:

• WackyPancake has been banned for repeated actions showing intolerance towards matters regarding a person's identity.
• TooManyIdeas has received a 24 hour suspension from the FG and the server for aggressively conduct.
• TheIcySneasel has also received a 24 hour suspension from the FG and the server for similar conduct.

In regards to Dispute GMs

Mobile has suggested we invite someone into the server to be a Dispute GM. Someone new and entirely unconnected to what's been going on with everyone, and so is not mired by any past grudges nor entangled in any ongoing problems. It seems? Like this will be the direction we're headed in? If there isn't any strong majority objections regarding this at least.

However, there were still a couple points that I figured were worth discussing, such as:

• So what do we do about the previous Dispute GMs? Are we dissolving this current format and letting us go?
• Will we have to build a formal and clearer code of conduct for Dispute GMs? Norm brought this up, and I do agree that it would be nice for a Dispute GM to know exactly what point an issue becomes less about the game and more of a personal issue.
  • (but Mega has also given me his input and believes maybe that's more of an "up to you" call to make for the next Dispute GM)

And that's about everything I had in mind to kick around for a little. If anyone else had any other thoughts feel free to toss them in.
