I'm afraid I'll have to withdraw, as stuff is coming up. I promise this has nothing to do with anything going on in the group, purely real life stuff. I'm going through pretty much the most stressful year of my life, and I don't think I'm prepared to GM on top of that. I'd prefer to play this one. Thanks for understanding.

OK, so! I will conduct the actual polling and election of the next RP plot once nominations are closed. As mobile said, this will be an election using RCV/IRV/AV method, so here is what I intend. If there are any questions, please ask.

NOTE: Polls are not open yet - nominations are still being accepted at this time.

Ballot Instructions:

• Rank the options for the upcoming RP plot in the order of your preference. While polls are open, submit this list to me by TV Tropes’ private messaging system. It is not necessary to recite in Latin, or any other language, "I call as my witness Christ the Lord who will be my judge, that my vote is given to the one who before God I think should be elected" prior to submission.

• You may use either the name of the plot or the name of the plot’s Game Master in the list on your ballot. Using the name of the plot's Robot Master is liable to cause confusion, mainly by me wondering why Dr. Wily is recycling plots.

• Only ONE choice may be listed for a given rank in your ballot. You MAY NOT, for example, list both "Usagi Tsukino" and "Sakura Kinomoto" as your first choice. (Besides, everyone knows the first choice ought to be "Madoka Kaname".)

• While it would be great if you ranked all of the choices, you DO NOT have to rank all of the options if you do not wish to. If all of the candidates listed on your ballot are eliminated (see Step 5 of “Election Procedure”), your ballot will be considered exhausted and set aside (it will be presumed that you do not have a preference among the remaining candidates).

• If you submit multiple ballots that are otherwise valid, I will only accept the LATEST ballot you submitted prior to the closing of polls; any previous ballot(s) you had submitted will be considered invalid and discarded - stuffing is strictly confined to Thanksgiving dinner.

• I would personally prefer it if your ballot was ordered with "1st - " preceding your first choice on one line, "2nd - " preceding your second choice on a separate line, and so on. However, as long as there is a clear ranking of the candidates on the ballot submitted I will consider it valid (e.g., if you just submit a list of the candidates without any "1st", "2nd", etc. tags, I will treat the first candidate listed as your first choice, the second candidate listed as your second choice, and so on). Just don't force me to consult a book on Chinese chicken bone divination or something to be able to interpret what you intended.

• The deadline for ballots is (TBA), Eastern Daylight Time (UTC-4). NOTE that this is NOT necessarily when polls will be closed - polls will close when I post such a statement in the discussion thread and will be at my discretion (i.e., when I am at liberty to tabulate all the ballots and resolve the election). Though I resolve to close the polls as close to the deadline as possible, I retain discretion to keep them open for extenuating circumstances (I will communicate such in the discussion thread if this occurs).

• Polls will NOT close prior to the deadline; I guarantee that any valid ballot submitted prior to the deadline will be counted. A ballot submitted after the deadline but before polls are closed will be counted and treated like any other ballot, but since the exact time of that is known by none but God we recommend that you submit your ballot when you can.

Election Procedure

For more technical information, see the link in mobile's post up top.

1. When polls are closed, I will examine each submitted ballot to verify they are valid.
2. Each non-eliminated candidate receives one (1) vote for each ballot that listed that candidate as their top choice.
3. If there is one candidate that has received a majority (defined as "greater than 50%") of all votes from valid and non-exhausted ballots, the election ends and that candidate is declared the winner.
4. If there is NOT a majority, the candidate that received the fewest votes in that round is eliminated. Ballots that had voted for eliminated candidates are redistributed to the next-highest candidate listed. If there is a tie for last place, there will be a mini-runoff between only the tied candidates using all valid ballots, with the candidate(s) receiving the fewest votes in the mini-runoff eliminated (this means it is possible for more than one candidate to be eliminated at once).
5. Ballots that had voted for an eliminated candidate will be redistributed to the next-highest candidate listed on it and still in the running. If there are no such candidates left on a given ballot, that ballot is considered "exhausted" and put aside.
6. Should all remaining candidates be eliminated because none of them were able to achieve a majority of votes (i.e., all had the same number of votes from non-exhausted ballots), the election is declared tied. Otherwise, return to Step 2 with the caveat that candidates that have been eliminated are no longer considered for votes and are skipped over in each ballot.

After discussions with Mobile, the deadline for any further nominations for the upcoming RP Plot will be 22:00 EDT on Thursday, July 5th, so a little over 32 hours from now. At that point, the full list of nominated plots and their GMs will be posted and you will have 72 hours to submit a vote via Private Messaging to me, so this should be resolved on Sunday night EDT.

Sorry if I wasn't clear. I was trying to have Felicia/Uncle say to exercise instead of train as a therapeutic thing for Aichi's concussion. Because, like, staying in shape is a good thing when you're injured so it won't spiral out of control, not to exert.

Oh, oops! I'm really sorry... I should have realized you meant that...

...Eh, Aichi's rather dense anyway. It all works.

However it is suggested that physical activity be avoided in favor of rest. A doctor (like Ori herself) typically should tell you when it's okay for you to resume light physical activity.

Amnesiac Aichi was trying to start his training somewhat slow and not exert himself.

In the end the guy just couldn't keep himself from wanting to train. He feels he HAS to train.

As I've said before, Aichi in general is extremely dense. He doesn't think things through a lot of the time and he seems to be lacking a lot of common sense.

So Aichi would be equally as likely to misinterpret what Felicia said as I was.

Aichi and I are a lot alike so that's one reason our actions and reactions sort of overlap a lot.

In the end no harm, no foul. If anything I wanted Aichi to get caught training for the sake of humor.
