"Shake the dust." - Anis MojganiWe start with 3 weeks of confinement where we stay in. Then we book out for the first time.
After that we book back in on Sunday and book out again on Fridays for the weekends.
Once Basic Training's done it's on to our chosen Vocation, and my schedule from there may depend on the Vocation.

It's certainly not hard to handle when it comes down to it. Not terribly heavy either, and shooting targets with it (at least the targets I could see) once I got into proper stance and technique was a breeze.
My main concern was how my company mates treated gun safety. (i.e. barely had any sense of gun safety at all) But I guess that's what happens when you're learning.
