The most hilarious thing of today (before i go watch bad anime dubs later)- I ordered groceries to be delivered yesterday, one of which was what I thought- one bunch of bananas. I had put the quantity of bananas as 1 (it did say loose, but I thought that just meant 'without bag'.
So I received the groceries today and-
They literally just gave me a single banana.
I don't know why I find this funny.
The mere thing of- someone was packing this order for me. And its' like- they're putting cookies, chocolate, digestives, cereal et cetera... and then just-
A single banana.
1.5 imperial gallons of tea were consumed during the writing of this postFar as I can tell, it was just the movie script put into normal prose form. Eastwood was there, yes.
6th grade lit class had a fairly extensive unit on time travel or something - I also had to read a book (can't remember the name) about something slowly screwing up history so that at some point the evacuation of Blitz children from London involved atomic trains and one had blown up prior to departing Waterloo Station. I think this was the spark of my interest in alternate history.
The damned queen and the relentless knight.Well, aside from the fact that we didn't have any books I personally liked (namely The House of the Scorpion) till eighth grade, our book reports tended to be rather poor.
I remember once that we split a report into five parts, and I was the only one that mentioned a certain supporting character who was around for most of it. Thus, said character came out of nowhere in my part of the narrative.

Yeah...book reports split amongst a group tend to sound schizophrenic, don't they? Especially if no one really wants to step up and review the whole thing for continuity.
Hey, I wasn't really too fond of English class either for most of my childhood - it was always my weakest subject.
