Yep. Hoping they opt to stay put from here on. Should be interesting, especially since they aren't technically native to this part of Texas and mostly just pass through on their way to Mexico.

◊ They're called black bellied whistling ducks, or patos pichichines. Very odd variety, the adults have long legs and perch in trees. They also purportedly have strong pair bonds like swans.
