The prophet is by far the easiest of the new bosses.
He's at the back of the row, with three broken pew seats in the front three. They don't do anything. They just sit there.
He's got a couple oddball attacks, like a stun that hits two guys I think.
But he doesn't use those very much. He mostly does this thing called calamitous prognostication.
It does like, 1 damage, and marks two or more people. He usually targets the front row.
He can does this twice or so in a turn. And then at the end of the turn, the people who were targeted have rocks fall on them for shittons of damage.
Since he moves lots of times, Men-at-Arms utterly destroy him because they can get off multiple riposte hits. It doesn't matter that retribution can't hit him directly; they'll hit him back regardless. And because retribution gives you protection, they won't be hurt very much.
Other than that, keep a healer around to patch up anyone who gets hit for a huge amount. Easy game.

And now I have a dilemma.
I love its art style.
However, people are... mixed on how the combat is. Some think it's too floaty and the controls are weird, some think it's great.
Everyone agrees the story is barebones.
And I am just sitting here, staring at it, trying to decide if I should buy it or not.
@Lemon: I try to conserve internet, so I'm just watching the trailer over and over again to get a feel for it.
@Box: What I'm more getting from it is that the gameplay works as intended, but it's not a style of gameplay that everyone necessarily enjoys, as it does look a bit floaty, but it also looks like it's intentionally floaty.
But thinking about it some more, it was only released in February and will probably fall in price some more in a subsequent sale....

Sorry, was doing the laundry.
Back now.
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything? You can love me, but you can never tame me. I belong out on the plains, with the other wild brumbies.
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?@Lemon: Oh no, you don't have to do that, it's fine, I'm more just talking into the thread to coherently organise my thoughts.
Like how I really want to play the Vanishing of Ethan Carter as it looks cool and is apparently a Lovecraft-inspired thing that is actually inspired by Lovecraft but I can't justify that price right as of now. Same with Sunless Sea.
@pyro Ah, I can tell you about Sunless Sea
Its very good game, with a strong story driven direction too; everything is solidly told, and the tales and choices are intriguing
But gameplay wise, it feels a bit short in that department; if you don't know where to acquire supply or get used quickly, the game can be less about stories and more on where to accumulate wealth or supplies so you don't starve or die
But wealth is one of the goals too, so...
всегда верен@Space: Yeah, the art style is fantastic and it's frankly shocking no-one thought of it before.
Unfortunately, I do not think I will buy it in the end this time... I shall wait for it to go on sale another time...
@Lemon: Ah, I see, I see.
As I said, I might have got it, except I made a vow not to touch anything less than 75% off.
@Box: Sshhhh it's okay I totally would have bought it if not for the reasons of my bargain hunting I mentioned yesterday
