Off Topic but this
is the reason I don't play Cards Against Humany, or Xyzzy.
On Topic, Badge, I'm kind of against that. Nothing against you Ram, but literally every other player makes an effort to involve other characters in whatever their writing. Or just generally have their characters approach them. So its not really fair to let Ram, sit back, and have us all make a concession for him that we don't do for anyone else.

PM box is Closed, Indefinitely Friend Code: 3368-4181-6850Very much so.
That's the primary problem.
I feel like if I initiate something with someone who doesn't like me (and I'm pretty sure there are people around here who don't), then I will succeed only in annoying them and wasting my effort.
And in my mind, the way around this is to only interact with people who want to interact with me. And usually, that means I'm left to myself.
If it looks like a vicious cycle, that's because it is.
Like we said via pm, Ram, part of this issue stems from your own attitudes that you need to break out of.
We, on the other hand, will make sure we are all just as accommodating to you as we are to anyone else.
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?I understand that this is concerning, but the problem with that is that you're effectively hobbling yourself. Initiation, despite not being something that you've gotta do all the time, is a fundamental part of this game.
If you think the majority of the people here don't have a problem with you, then why are you still worried? I certainly won't get on your case if you initiate something with me, and that's a promise.
EDIT: Oop, there should have been a "not" there. Sorry.

make it through this year if it kills you yet | 2001-2019Y'all need to stop assuming this is personal. It's not personal. 'Kaythanks.
I haven't had much contact with the FG, but I will say this: perhaps part of the reason interactions with your characters don't happen often is because people are not sure how to approach you. You yourself have stated you do not like getting involved in heavily emotional things (or did I misinterpret that), so this really doesn't leave much room for people to do things with your characters than piss around talking about the weather. It also may make them feel flat since people can't really get them riled up or invested in/about things.
I like writing heavily emotional things. A lot. The only thing I ever said (that I can recall) is that I dislike writing things where control of my character is taken from me.
That being said.
I'm starting to become aware that my own issues are getting too big for me to cordon them off, so I'm having difficulty acting like a normal person.
I'm not entirely sure where to go with that.

I gotta go, but this is a good time for us to talk about this issue and meet each other half way.
Back in fifteen.
