M'kay.

GM ANNOUNCEMENT... OF A SORT.

The current plot of this RP is largely non-overarching. Most plot is hopefully going to come from the characters themselves. While i know that just setting up more raids and such is unfavorable, we're giving you leniency to flavor it a bit: Create quests that may show off some aspect of your character, and such.

However, we'll -meaning Daltar and I- be creating soe subplots/plot arcs for you.

I already have two i'm working on, but i'd like to set some guidelines of a sort before i actually ever finish planning them.

These subplots are meant to be meaningful in some sort of way - they aren't random missions, that's for sure. I'm trying to be unique with each one i create.

That being said, i need to ask more from you when i start running these. If they're enjoyable, that's great, but i'd really love feedback on these as we go along so i know if i'm doing anything right.

This in most cases should come through feedback here, but i'd like to ask for more substantiality from posts in these plots. I'm not asking paragraphs, mind you, but really dig firmly into how your character reacts to these things as we go along. Characters will have similar personalities and at times think alike, but at times can be vastly different, and being able to see varying, non-generally unified reactions to it would be perfect. How you choose to go about this is your choice, and i won't force you to go to any extreme or make it a standard, but i'd really appreciate seeing the IC reactions of characters. In the DT, just comment what you think when you can. I'm not looking for consistency on either, but feedback would help alot.

That being said, subplots won't actually be a thing that forces you to go through it all if you join, but it's preferred for somewhat obvious reasons. I'd also like to have a general cap for players participating, somewhere around 4 people per.

With that, i'm going to do some more lighthearted planning and generally rest. See you all tomorrow.

Could you clarify what you meant by "turn the tables around a bit"? I think it means Dylinnil wants to be the one who answers questions, or that Bohl just needs to blab a lot to give him more information, but I could be wrong, so I don't want to make a post that does a 180 from what you want.

Keep the conversation going; ask questions, talk about something else, just make it less one sided.

I apologize for any percieved ill-intent, that isn't my intention.

Apologies for being slow to respond. School can be a bitch.

N-Man, i don't mean to be, well, mean here, but this is exactly what i was talking about earlier.

I have no plans to move Dylinnil anywhere, but i can hardly keep the both of us from limbo-ing if the conversation stops being fluid. As it stands, it's very one-sided, or at least i'm reading it as that.

If i need to, i can certainly step up a bit and try to give you more to work with, but i need a good bit more from you as well.

As it currently stands, Bohl could ask about what jobs the Companions usually do (Or rather what Dylinnil usually does in terms of jobs, as the Companions are a bit vague with what they specialize in when you get past the leaders in-game mission types), about Ysgramor (I'm fairly sure his comment about not being from Cyrodiil, as it was earlier, was a false front, but he could speak the part of a non-native), or to follow up on looking like a travelling merchant, ask about the other holds and capitols.

I'm very willing to work with you right now if we can figure something out. That won't be changing.

Sorry, I have a bad habit of phrasing questions as comments here, out of a fear of accidentally dragging out a conversation too long.

Sorry for the double post, but feel free to let me know if that statement was inaccurate. The games provide shockingly little on the actual makeup of Soul Gems, at least as far as I'm aware.

Oh yeah. Earlier today, I was watching a livestream of an old building in town getting blown up. As I was doing so, I was reading the comments in the chat next to it. A split second before the explosions started, someone posted "FUS ROH DAH!"

Normally, I'd facepalm, but this guy's timing was just far too perfect.

So, when would it be reasonable for Jeane to "acquire" the knowledge to summon a Dremora Lord? I want to get my ham on.

I have no real estimate, but not for a good bit. We're really at the beginning of this RP, and skill progression hasn't been a detail that needed to be worried about.

When you can beat Sanguine in a drinking contest? I'm serious, he gives you a staff that does nothing but summon them

And by the way -clears throat-

"Gray-Mane, or Battleborn?"

Mind spoilering that, Dragon? And any other plot details for those of us that haven't done that?

I have already, but still.

Actually, i'll see about posting now...

It's especially funny because when I had had the item for a little while and figured it was over and I'd never hear about it again, I ran into an Argonian who told me I'd bet him 10,000 septims to go into a bandit camp and steal the leader's hat.

It's occured to me that the initiation into the Companions is about halfway similar to some gang initiation, or what representations i've seen of how that plays out.

It's also occured to me that i may or may not be playing it a bit strongly towards that kinda thing, discounting Dylinnil being the tester.

This is going to be fun, nonetheless. I get to show Dylinnil in a bit of a harsher light and possibly royally piss Zaitoma(?

) off!

Aaronyan's going into mean kitty mode. Or mean crocodile. Or something.

Or Crocokitty that's going to have fun abusing initiating Zaitoma.
