Through sheer force of will, you manifest an ethereal lance that can be thrown or used as a melee weapon. Enemies struck by this lance take 3d4 damage and must make a saving throw or be shocked*. Lasts for 1d3 + WIS rounds.
* Shocked adds an extra damage dice to incoming attacks
Ice XVI
Nothing seems to have changed. But perhaps one day it will. The user causes several minor earthquakes in quick succession, causing a large, jagged-edged fissure to open beneath the target's feet. The target must make an Agility saving throw; on a successful saving throw, the attack is nullified. As the target's leg falls partly or wholly into the crack, the fissure closes in a manner resembling that of two jaws, crushing the bones of the creature's limb with a Sickening "Crunch!".
The target must then make a successful Constitution saving throw, or become Restrained and take 2d3 bludgeoning damage. On a successful Constitution saving throw, roll 2d3 and subtract the result from movement range for the rest of the encounter. If the target is Restrained, the creature can opt to make a Strength check against the spell's DC. On a successful check, the creature suffers the aforementioned movement penalty and is freed. On a failed check, the target takes 2d3 bludgeoning damage.

artsy geek | any pronouns | "well, if you're hearing this, then chances are you've made a very poor career choice."

You insult the target mightily. The insult strikes the target, causing 3d8 plus 1d8 per spell level psionic damage. The target has disadvantage on all saving throws for the next two rounds. There is no save or spell resistance, but the effect can be negated with a good comeback.
