Just a warning though : some tidbits in episode 37 and 38 make references to the movie. Like how Ako told Ellen to not call her "princess" again because in the movie, Ako said it but Ellen just ignored her and called her "princess". But, the most glaring one is the tunes in Ako's music box (it's the movie's Leitmotif.
Word of God itself said that The Movie is Episode 36A, though. So, yeah.
Btw, since we're on topic of Suite, what are your favorite Suite BGM? I'm torn between:
- "La La La Suite Precure" (both normal and Unlimited version)
- "Wonderful! Powerful! Music"
- "#Kibou no Rainbow#"
- "Let's Play! Precure Modulation"
- "Melody of Happiness" (all versions)
- "Miraculous Melody! Miracle Belltier!"
- "New Power! Cross Rods!"
- "The Missions in Precure's Hearts"
- "Symphony of Hope" (both the string and piano version)
- "Precure Heartful Beat Rock!" and its commercial break version "Love Guitar Rod ~ads ver.~"
- "Harmony of Friendship"
- "Goddess' Tune! Cure Muse"
- "Precure Suite Session Ensemble!"
- "Song of Heart" (all versions)
- the unnamed songs that played when the Cures beam spamming against Noise in episode 47. Both the intense version that played during the first half and the sad one in the second half.
- and lastly, the unnamed song which serves as Crescendo Cures' Leitmotif.
Both are fine, I guess. Though Muse version got a minus point because of her horrible close-ups. Still, the lack of Dodori on both version disturbs me.

I'll say #Kibou no Rainbow# (Or however else you spell it) because it went along with my 2nd favoraite dancing theme in the series (Heartcatch☆Paradise will always be the best).
Did anybody else like #Kibou no Rainbow# better with Hummy than with Cure Muse?

Infinity...Umm no clue on the names of any of these.....
Anyway I really liked Yuri's mysterious or sad theme in Heartcatch (no idea of the title.), as well as most of the fighting themes in Heartcatch (which were heavy on guitars
)
Also the ED of Pretty Cure All Stars DX 2... The change of artists for the themes improved them a lot.

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!So a quick glance at the episode and those costumes are not in it from what I see... it is just their group attack. (I will know better when I get it on my psp in a few.)
So should we get a genre savvy entry going on the Smile Precure page?
We got Myuiki's Savvyness about Late for School and Crash-Into Hello, and Akane's Savvy snark.

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!Woah next episode preview
Kyoto School Trip and Miyuki is falling off that famous stage from that saying, that I can not remember the name of at the moment.
Will this be the first Precure series to actually visit a real place in japan? And man Miyuiki's hair is getting more expressive soon she will be as bad as candy.
I have serious issues with Candy as a Geisha...
EDIT: That picture with those nightgown type things, looking at the opening now it appears that is how they will fly, like Heartcatch's capes.

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!And Heartcatch Precure they visit Paris in the movie... How could I forget? Its my fav Precure The Movie...
I couldnt resist a Candy Geisha avy.
The thing about visiting Paris is what I liked most about the Heartcatch movie, as instead of taking place in a completely different world, that film took place on a much more familiar one (i.e., Earth). Personally, if I was in control of the Pretty Cure franchise, all of the movies would take place in a real-life city (of course, I'd go for a different city for each film, and I'd usually want to pick cities that have been less used as settings in media in order to do something different).

The amount of effort they did take to show Paris was pretty over the top. Especially in the opening, that CG pan shot was Scenery Porn on the BD, the cool part was it was effectively creditless too since they took the effort to put the credits in various signs and poles in the shots around the city. (Do we have a trope for that one?)
I expect Kyoto to be close to that level, being that it is made from the same team.
But about the fact that they visited a Real World city instead of another world is one did not actually fit the plot and theme of the series. Every other Precure series had a "land of X" already at the heart of the plot of that series so they could go to another land easily.
Heartcatch's theme was fashion and love.... where else would you go but Paris?
EDIT: watching that OP again... Erika's face in it just makes me laugh.

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!Well there is that too. Flowers pretty much stood for emotions usually love, friendship and yada. Especially since everyone's heart and pretty much their soul was a flower.
But flowers still fits Paris

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!So the Smile ending variations are kinda annoying... I was expecting them to do the version of whoever the episode focused on but it seems entirely random.
This week it was Candy and Beauty but Sunny got the ED, who did jack in this episode.
Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!I thought they went in order? Happy>Sunny>Peace>March>Beauty. Because I'm sure 11 was about Nao but we got the Happy version.
Infinity...Heads up, guys. An /a/non is subbing Yes 5 Go Go really bloody quickly. He's gone through 8,9 and 10 in somewhere like the last 4 days. Doremi's taking care of distribution right now.
My troper wall's now my troper page, yay! Come to IJBMAnd then the Smile episode was yesterday.
Another power up!? What. Why do they have butterfly wings in the preview?
And then for 14-17 episode titles and summary which I didn't translate.
School Trip! Lost in Osaka!?
Miyuki and Yayoi get lost in Osaka with Candy during the school trip.
Dotabata! Miyuki's strategy for mum's day!!
As Miyuki has no money to buy a present for her mum for mum's day, she decides to help her in housework.
Reika's problem! Why do I have to study!?
Miyuki asks Reika why she has to study.
Hot-blooded story! Akane's life comedy!!
Miyuki and the Cures decide to take part in the comedy contest.
